Thomas Lewis Wheaton, Sr., 67 of Saginaw, our beloved husband, father, and papa passed away March 25, 2022, surrounded by his family. Tom was born June 17, 1954 to the late Norman Wheaton and Rheabelle Foss in Saginaw, MI. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Cathy (Simon) Wheaton, whom he married June 8, 1996 in Saginaw, MI. He is also survived by his children Thomas Wheaton Jr. (Jen), Angela Osterman (James), Jessica Torrez (Ric), Jeffrey Strachan (Shawn), Mallory Strachan, Meghan Prinz (Kyle), Ciera Wheaton, and Shane Wheaton. He is also survived by 16 cherished grandchildren; Thomas III, Bobbilynn, Stephen, Maple, Alexis, Jamie, Anthony, Ashley, Christopher, Kennedy, Ethan, Cole, Torri, Sutton, Norah, and Elaina; 7 great-grandchildren, and his siblings Bob Ormsbee, Bill Ormsbee, Barbara Vance, and many nieces and nephews. Tom loved fishing, listening to music, and being surrounded by family. His grandkids were the light of his life. Per Tom's wishes, cremation has already taken place and a memorial gathering will take place at a later date. Private arrangements have been entrust to Kind Cremations.
